I’ve spent much of the last decade supporting Cal Poly’s brand through high-quality video production.

As the director and lead producer for Cal Poly’s video team since 2014, I fulfill multiple roles and responsibilities for the university - from leading cross-functional teams to assisting in marketing strategies - but my passion lies in spearheading the production of tentpole videos - like for our university’s brand new $100 million research facility.

I’ve been tasked with a leadership role in revamping the university’s official YouTube channel. Our strategy concluded that our two biggest audiences were prospective students and parents, and it has given us a direction for our content.

I have the unique role of strategist, director and content producer.

A big part of our strategy is making our content attractive and relevant for an uninitiated audience. In producing the video for Cal Poly’s 75th Rose Float,

we wanted to produce content that hooks viewers and retain them.
